Is Beyond Alarm free?
Yes, almost all of it. The alarm, all eleven missions, Morning Lockout in Strict mode, Wake-up Check, scheduled blocks and Phone Block — Hard mode included — are in the current free offering, supported by ads. Pro removes the ads and adds Hard mode to Morning Lockout.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. Alarms, missions and blocking all run on the device. Pose detection for the exercise missions is on-device too — no frame ever leaves your phone. Ads, billing and configuration updates use a connection.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login.
My alarm did not go off. What happened?
On Xiaomi, vivo, OPPO and realme, aggressive battery management stops background apps, and an alarm that has been stopped cannot ring. Allow autostart for Beyond Alarm and turn off battery optimisation for it. The exact settings and impact vary by phone, OS version and app.
Why does it ask for the Accessibility permission?
Only to enforce the blocking rules you set for yourself. It is what lets the app notice a blocked app opening during a lockout. Beyond Alarm is not an accessibility tool and does not present itself as one.
Can I stop a lockout early?
Strict is the current default and offers an early-exit flow that may include rewarded ads and a hold confirmation. Hard mode has no normal stop button until the timer ends. Read the explanation for your chosen scope before enabling it.
Which apps does it block?
The ones you pick, or the whole phone if you choose that. Calls still come through either way.
Is it on iPhone?
Not yet. Beyond Alarm is Android-only today.
